U vra me 7 maj 1999, në Gjakovë, nga forcat serbe. Trupi i saj , sikur i mijërave të tjerëve, u mbajt peng në gropa të Sërbisë.
U rivarros me ceremoni fetare-atdhetare, bashkë me dhjetë bijë të Gjakovës, me 23 dhjetor 2OO3, në kodrën e Çabratit të Gjakovës.
Yllka Domi ka qenë nxënëse e shkëlqyeshme, ishte besimtare, recituese e dalluar dhe valltare. Kishte prirje për poezi…Ishte çikë për hasret, bija e vetme e Dashurije dhe Afrim Domit, ish-kryetar i Këshillit të Bashkësisë Islame të Gjakovës…)
